iPods in Classrooms


Most people would probably agree that the possession of ipods and other music gadgets by students is distraction in classrooms. However some progressive teachers don't mind at all. They actually claim that some students are "musical learners", meaning that they learn best when they have their favorite music in the background. How true or false is this claim?

Rwanda Embraces Technology


Proficiency in communication and technology is key for development of a country. At least this is what the leaders of Rwanda believe. They are attempting to rapidly implementing technology and enhancing modern communication tools in almost every domain of life, hoping to attract foreign investors to look at Rwanda as the first viable African partner in doing business. Integrating technology in classrooms for students and educators has also been one of the chief targets that Rwanda wants to hit by the year 2020. This YouTube Video illustrates the point.
